Bespoke Features Created for a Resin Bound Driveway in Swinton, Manchester!

New World Resin Driveways recently completed the installation of a stunning new resin bound driveway in Swinton, Manchester, which was across the front and side of the property. We also installed a patio around the back of the bungalow. Our clients decided to have Anthracite aggregate which as you can see from the photographs mixes various shades of grey. This nicely complemented the grey bricks that were a feature in the front and side walls. Our clients also opted for the same resin bound aggregate for the patio linking the front and back external spaces.

One of the advantages of using resin bound aggregate is that it can be combined with other products to create a patio and new driveway in Swinton, Manchester. In this instance we combined it with Granite Plaspave Modena blocks which we used to define the perimeter of the driveway and patio. The anthracite aggregate was nicely framed by the Plaspave Modena blocks.

In addition, we used grey KL kerbs to create a step at the side door as well as along the grass edge of the patio to retain the garden. With this particular job there were two manhole covers at the front and back of the house. We were able to change them for disguised lids which concealed them. It is these little details that, while they take a little more time to address, make a big difference in the overall look of both the patio and the resin bound driveway in Swinton, Manchester and the quality of the finish.

As always, we used 7.5 UV stable resin kits. The driveway and patio are SUDS compliant as the resin is laid on open pour tarmac. This means that there is no need to include a drain in the driveway.
