New World Resin Driveways recently completed the installation of a new resin bound driveway in Sale, Manchester. We used our standard 7.5 UV stable resin kits. The area outside the front of this 1930’s traditional semi was completely changed.

Seeing the benefits of having a resin bound driveway which is low maintenance and five times more solid than concrete with no loose stones, our clients chose the pearl quartz aggregate from the broad range of colour combinations that are available along with a Plaspave Modena block around the edge. Using the Plaspave Modena blocks, added a contemporary feel, creating sharp clean lines to the edging and a lovely smooth surface that, like the resin, is gentle on your car’s tyres. In addition, we used a KS kerb in charcoal to section off the planted area. Our clients were keen to leave in place the existing shrubs which created a nice feature and softened the appearance of the resin bound driveway.

Combined with the new dark grey garage door, the grey front door and the charcoal-coloured kerbs and edging, the whole scheme worked perfectly together, the driveway complementing the house and the house complementing the driveway! In addition, we had to accommodate 4 manholes and disguised their appearance with lids that were covered in the resin bound aggregate.
