A New Driveway, A Great Investment!
New World Resin recently installed a beautiful new resin bound driveway in Sale, Manchester. The area to be covered included across the front of the house and along the side leading to the garage. It had to incorporate an existing border across one corner of the new driveway.
From the wide range of colour blends, our clients opted for Cappuccino for their new resin bound driveway in Sale, Manchester. The resin gravel varies in size meaning that this creates more texture and depth. You can see a lovely close-up photograph of the aggregate blend that we used with its range of sand, grey, cream and beige colours.
We combined using the resin bound aggregate which covered the majority of the driveway with charcoal Tobermore block paving around the perimeter. This nicely framed the new driveway, defining the shape of it, while also picking out the grey stones in the aggregate mix. For all our resin bound driveways we use a 7.5 UV stable resin kit.
We also added a KL kerb around the basement area. This protected the grill above the basement window, ensuring it was not a safety hazard.
It’s also good to know that our resin bound driveways are all SUDS compliant. That’s because the resin is laid on open pour tarmac which means that surface water can soak through into the ground. A layer of scattered crushed glass is always also put over the surface to prevent slipping.
In addition to the new driveway, we fitted a 4ft waney lap fence on the boundary. You can see the overall effect of the resin bound driveway from the photographs included. The outside space had a beautiful upgrade to compliment the house.
