We recently installed a new driveway in Alderley Edge. Our clients decided to have a resin bound driveway in Alderley Edge. They picked the Cappuccino blend aggregate, which as you can see from some of the photographs, has warm, sandy, and brown tones in it.

We used cobbles to picture frame the edges as well as create a curve to divide up the driveway and make the space more visually appealing. The colour of the cobbles complimented the colours in the resin bound aggregate, nicely tying the whole look together. We also added a recessed manhole cover, which you can see in some of the photographs. This was covered in the same resin bound aggregate to make it much more discreet. We were able to incorporate an existing small tree and the dividing hedges on both sides. Keeping the plants in place softens the look of the driveway.

This resin bound driveway in Alderley Edge was laid on permeable tarmac to make it SUDS compliant. This means that there is no need for a drain as any surface water will sink through the aggregate and tarmac into the ground.

We applied a layer of crushed glass to the surface to prevent slipping. As with every resin bound driveway in Alderley Edge that we install, 7.5 UV stable kits were used, as standard.
